Homebuyer’s Education Class                                                                 Saturdays
KCCD offers a certified 8-hour Homebuyer’s Education Course in English and Korean which provides first time homebuyers with the needed assistance to navigate through the finances and legal aspects of purchasing a home here in California. The Course will equip prospective homeowners’ with the needed knowledge on government down payment assistance programs, the escrow process and various topics that will equip them to successfully purchase a home. There is a one-time registration fee of $50.00.

A full 8-hour course will be completed in one day. HBE is a required component of all government down payment assistance programs. This 8-hour education topics consists of: Orientation, Assessing, Budgeting Credit, Mortgage Shopping Home Shopping, Maintaining your Home, Loss Mitigation Predatory Lending.
